U.S. AIRMEN SET RECORD

NEW YORK, October 5

Two former Navy fliers, Bob Woodhouse and Woody Jongward tonight set a new world record for a sustained flight. Flying over Yuma. Arizona, in an Aeronica plane, they broke the previous record- of 1008 hours, established earlier in the year in California. Woodhouse and Jongeward plan to keep their plane aloft until Wednesday next, October 12.
