CANADIAN TEAM FOR AUCKLAND GAMES
(Rec 9.10) MONTREAL, Sept 28. The Canadian Government to-day announced a grant of 20,000 dollars to help to send a team to the British Empire Games at Auckland next year. The team officials were disappointed. One said that the Government had been expected to contribute a larger /share. of the 90,000 dollar" needed.
