A favourable start has been given bv the coal miners of Blackball and Dobson for the 1949 health stamp campaign, which begins locally on Monday, by each subscribing 10s for stamps. Each day next week health stamps will be sold at booths in Greymouth by members of the Health Stamp Committee and the Townswomen’s Guild. ■ Seven West Coastchildren are sent every six weeks to the health camp at Glenelg, Christchurch, by the Health Camp Committee, the expense being met by one-third of the revenue from the stamps sold.
