ELECTRIC TRAINS AFIRE IN JAPAN

TOKIO, September 27. When a carriage of an electric train burst into flames between Osaka and Kyoto to-day, 140 passengers were injured, 40 seriously. Bloodstained passengers with their clothing afire jumped out of windows and doors when the train stopped. One passenger said the carriage seemed to explode and catch fire.
