Solent’s Flight to N.Z.

WELLINGTON, Sept 27. The Tasman Empire Airline’s SolAnt “Ararangi” is well ahead of tfme on the delivery flight from England and is expected to arrive at Auckland on Thursday afternoon. Captain C. G. Griffiths, chief pilot for T.E.A., is in command and with him is Captain Upton Route, captain with the 8.0.A.C., as co-pilot. The passengers include Captain K. O. Brownjohn, operations manager for T.E.A., Captain K. J. G. Bartlett, a director of the Bristol Aircraft Compsuiy, Mr W. Fames, sales managci and Mr L. G. Brister, technical representative or that company, Mr J. Atkinson Technical representative of Short Brothers and Harland, and Mr N. E. Higgs, New Zealand representative of that company.
