VIENNA, September 26.

One man w T as killed and another man was injured to-day by mines attached to the barbed wire entanglements the Hungarians have erected along their frontier with Austria The man killed was a gendarme, patrolling the frontier. The mine exploded about 60 feet away, killing him instantly.

A young farmer was injured when he touched a tripwire near the frontier fence.
