COMINFORM AT AN END?
Yugoslav Claim (N.Z.P.A.—REUTER CABLE) (Rec. 11.33). BELGRADE, Sept. 26. The Deputy Speaker of the Yugoslav National Assembly, Moshe Pijade. claimed to-day: “The Cominform no longer exists!” According to Tanjug, the Yugoslav official news - agency, M. Pijade said that the Cominform, which he called "the tool of the Soviet Information Service”, had not met since July, when it published an attack on the Yugoslav Government. All that remained of the Cominform now, he said, was its newspaper, “the most vulgar rag that ever soiled the international workers’ movement”.
