JEW WANTS NEW TEMPLE IN ISRAEL

TEL AVIV, Sept. 12

A visitor in the public gallery of the Israeli Parliament aimed a Sten gun at the Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion to-day. The whole Parliament rose in an uproar as stewards grabbed the man and disarmed him. The man identified himself as Abraham Zfati, aged 37. He claimed that he did not intend to kill the Prime Minister, but wanted to commit suicide.

During the past few weeks he has distributed pamphlets among members of Parliament, urging a plan to erect a new temple. He entered Parliament on a regular visitor’s ticket with the Sten gun wrapped in a bundle of pamphlets concerning the temple.
