21 Lives Lost in The Canadian Crash
OTTAWA, August 23. A crash land party reached the wrecked twin-engined Royal Canadian Air Force flying-boat transport ,plane and found no survivors. There 'were 21 persons on board. The passengers included eight Eskimos, striken with infantile paralysis. The only woman passenger was a nurse who accompanied the eskimos. The transport left Cnurchill on Hudson Bay last Sunday for Winnipeg after replacing weather bureau personnel in the Arctic circle area. The R.C.A.F announcement said that the transport had crashed and burned 250 miles north-east of
