Resignation of L.R.C. Official Not Final
CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 24. A final decision will be made by the president of the North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee, Mr John Roberts, at a meeting 01 the committee tomorrow night. Mr Roberts tendered his resignation two weeks ago, the reported grounds being uneasiness at the result of the referendum on compulsory military training and concern at the submerging of many original planks of the Labour Party platform. The resignation was not accented.
