MADRAS COMMUNISTS FIGHT WITH POLICE
BOMBAY, August 21. Police killed two and injured several others when they fired on a Communist-led crowd in a village near Madura, Madras. The crowd were attacking the police with sticks, stones and sickles. . Officials said that the Communists had been trying for the past week to break up the Congress Party campaign for the District Board Council elections.
