RUGBY FOOTBALL Inter-College Tourney
P.A'. WANGANUI, August 22. The inter-college quadrangular rugby tournament ended here today, honours going to Nelson College team, which defeated Wanganui Collegiate School in the final by 27 to nil. Wellington beat Christ’s College, Christchurch, by five to three. SCHOOL TOURNEY P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug 22. The results of the second day’s play in the Primary Schools’ quadrangular Rugby football tournament held at New Plymouth were as follows :— Rangitikei 11 beat Wanganui 3. Manawatu 6 beat Taranaki nil.
