TYPHOON IN SOUTH JAPAN
(Rec. 11.50) TOKIO, Aug. 17 Twelve persons were killed and more than thirty are missing as the result of a typhoon which swept the southern tip of Japan on Monday night and early yesterday reports the Japanese police headquarters. The typhoon brought heavy rains, which are now causing flooding.
