NAZIS OFFERED SOVIET JOBS

LONDON, Aug. 1. The Associated Press Berlin correspondent says the Communist leader, Walter Ulbricht, initiator of the industrialisation plan for the Soviet zone today offered big public jobs to former Nazis who are anti-American. He said, in an interview with the Russian-licensed newspaper, “Nacht Express, that, as the aggressive forces in the United States aimed at the destruction of the German nation. Germans must no longer consider the former party memberships of indi-_ viduals. He added “Not a few former active Nazis are doing responsible’ tasks in the Russian occupation zone today.”
