Rifle Shooting
A feature of the second shoot of the third competition of Westport Rifle Club was .the scoring of N. Palmer and H. G. Marshall, Palmer taking senior honours with 8 central bulls. Mrs Bithell was outstanding in the ladies’ section with 99. F. Cropp, 97, was the best junior. Others to shoot well were L. Hutchison and J. Keoghan (99), and C. Emerson, in his first season with the small bore rifle, returned 98. Leading scores were: N. Palmer, FI. G. Marshall 100; L. Hutchison, Mrs Bithell, J. RKeoghan.' C. Emerson 99; D. G. Bain, D. J.
