Rich Mint's Dashing Win in Park Memorial Steeples at Te Awamutu

TE AWAMUTU, June 19.

The Waipa Racing Club’s Winter meeting was held at Te Awamutu yesterday in brilliant sunshine. The track was heavy. Results are as follows:—

First Arapuni Hack Handicap.— 4/2 REMAND (Nt Holland) 1; 8/8 Brer Mark 2; 2/3 Kilfenora 3. Medieval King was fourth. Won by half a neck; a head. Time 1.44. Andrew Kay Memorial Hack Steeplechase.—l7l MODERN VIEW (A. Morton) 1; 5/5 Ballinasloe 2; 2/2 Fluffy 3. The Trader was fourth. Won by three lengths and a-half; fice lengths. Time 4.40. Second Arapuni Hack Handicap.— 5/5 SAREEL (R. Horne) 1; 4/3 Tactful Lad 2; 6/6 Clear View 3. Lady Vernon was fourth. Won by threequarters of a length; a nick. Time 1.44.

W. G. Park Memorial Steeplechase. —2/1 RICH MINT (J. Jenkins) 1; 7/7 Jason Lad 2; 6/6 Tanga-Te-Pai 3. Glenfayle was fourth. Won by eight lengths; three lengths. Time 5.50.
