Senator Tom Clark, ILS. AttorneyGeneral .described as ridiculous a report by the “Times-Herald” that Mr. J. Edgar Hoover resigned as the director of the F’c-deral Bureau of Investigation, during a heated discussion with himself. The paper said a disagreement was believed to have resulted from the disclosure of F. 8.1. files at the espionage trial of the woman, Judith Copion. a Government official. The F. 8.1. was opposed to opening its files, and it told Senator Clark that it would be better to drop the case against Judith Copion.
