Redingote Has Chance To Make Amends At Waipa
A strong fancy for the Auckland Cornwall Handicap, Redingote, struck a good deal of trouble in the early stages of that race, eventually finishing right up fifth. With any luck in the running at Waipa, today, he should run a good race in the Woodstock Stakes, especially as he handles winter conditions well. ' The principal race for the jumping brigade is the Park Memorial Steeplechase, in which there are eight acceptors. Very few of the field have any form to recommend them, and the topweight, Hazsoult, would only have to race kindly to share in the prize money. Betting will be under • the win and place system, and the following horses may be prominent:—
