Five People Hurt In Car Colton On One-Way Bridge

P.A. TAUMARUNUI, June 17. Before noon to-day, there was a head-on collision between two motor cars on a one-way bridge, half a mile south of National Park town. It caused severe injuries to five persons. The cars were driven by Keith Melville Hickson, of Rosetta Road, Railmati, who .was coming north, and by David Bernard Horrobin, of Ohariu Valley, Johnsonville, who was going south. Both of the drivers were slightly injured. Horrobin’s mother and father, Mrs Cela Daisy and Mr Arthur Horrobin, suffered sei’ious injuries to the head. Hickson’s wife, Mrs Marion Eliza Hickson, vzas also seriously injured, suffering a broken arm and broken ribs.
