Lodestar Victim Won £37,000 in English Football Pool

LONDON, March 22 Mr W. E. Perkins, who with his wife,, was Killed in the Lodestar aircraft crash at Paraparaumu, New Zealand, last week, is reported to nave won xSf.OOO in a lootball pool in England. Mr and Mrs Perkins, whose home was in Ferry Road, Day’s Bay, Wellington, had been in New Zealand for about a year and were returning from a visit to Australia. They are survived by two young children. The parents oi Mrs Perkins, Mr and Mrs J. Collins, of Birmingham, learned of the win only after the report of the crash.
