KEY ELECTIONS

I From a Reuter Correspondent in Paris]

Voting which will show whether France is moving Left or Right will take Dlace on March 20 ano 27 all over France when members are elected to the Councils of 89 deoartmeiits. It will be the first time Frenchmen have gone to the polls since the municipal elections of October, 1947. The results will provide a good pointer to the probable life of Prime Minister Queueille’s middle of the road Government. A sweeping victory for either the extreme Right or extreme Left would precipitate a crisis and the Government’s fall would probably follow.
