Harley’s Junior Club
Hello, Bovs and Girls, —• And how are you all to-day ? I suppose you have all been enjoying the lovely fine weather these days. . . Now I know you will all be just, about bursting with excitement wondering who has won the competition for our Club Badge. I have had such a lot of excellent designs that it has been very difficult to decide which was the winning one, and I want to say a big “thank you to all the boys and girls who sent in entries. The design which I have chosen as the best was sent in by Mary Clarke, of Cobden. She will receive a prize and also 20 marks. Congratulations, Maiy. The two next best will gain ten marks, and they were drawn by Raymond Klempel and Melva Jones. FIRST PRIZE and Twenty Marks. —Miss Mary Clarke, 104 Ward Street, Cobden. SECOND. Ten Mark's. —Master Raymond Klempel, Moana. THIRD: Ten Marks. —Miss Melva Jones, 8 Kerr Avenue, Cobden. Now that we have chosen our design, boys and girls, it won’t be so very long before we will have the badges for you, and you will be able to wear them, and then everyone will know that you are members of Harley’s Junior Club. Cheerio till next week, children.
