OBITUARY
Mr John Holmes An old resident of Kumara. Mr John Holmes, died at his residence, Tui Street, Kumara. yesterday morning at the age of 68 years. A native of Kumara, the late _Mi Holmes had followed gold mining pursuits for the greater part of his life. ■ He leaves, besides his wife, one son John, and one daughter, Mrs J. Ryman, both of Kumara*. The funeral takes place at Kumara cemetery this afternoon.
