ROOKLYN COY. DEFEAT GREY L.V.A.
An interesting cricket match was yesterday played at Die Recreation Ground between teams representing the Rooklyn Theatrical Comnany and the Greymouth Licensed Victuallers’ Association, in which the visitors, who included more than ojie capable batsman, were the winners. Going _ir. first, they compiled 197 runs, the chief scorers being H. Mosslield 61, J. Lawman 40, and .R. McMahon 22. The L.V.A. team replied with 103, the chief scorers being L. Coffey 2'5, J. Beban 20. and B. Croudis 15. It is the intention of the theatricals later in their tour to try conclusions witn teams in other centres.
