Beirne, (District Cadet Officer) on behalf of the Westport Ambulance and Nursing Divisions made a presentation of a writing set to Miss Shanks, who had done so much for the Order, giving lectures during the year, both to tne Senior Ambulance and Nursing Divisions as well as taking proficiency tests for the Cadet Divisions. Sergeant Patricia McLean (Westport North Beach Sunrays) presented Miss Shanks with a beautiful bouquet of flowers on behalf of all Divisions Other speakers were Lady Superintendent M. Todd (Westport Senior Nursing), Lady Superintendent T, Davies (Westport Cadet Nursing), Lady Superintendent D. Marshall (Westport North Beach Sunray Sunray Nursing), and Corporal Iris Lunny (Westport North Beach Sunrays> All spoke highly of Miss Shanks's ability and co-operation with all Divisions.
