Salvador Army Deposes President

SAN SALVADOR, Dec. 15. The El Salvador army has overthrown the Government of the President of Salvador, Castaneda Castro, it was announced to-day. The President was deposed yesterday after an exchange of machinegun fire between the army men and the garrison at the presidential palace. The short revolution occurred because of the President tried to reelect himself.
