Smallbore Rifle Club
The Westport Small Bore Rifle Club fired off the second shoot of the special final competition at the weekend. Scores of 99 were recorded by Brian Flynn, D. J. Cunningham, J. R. Keoghan and R. Cunningham. Ron Powell, 98, shot well in the junior section, and Miss V. Walker returned a target of 95. Next Sunday the Westport Defence Rifle Club will open the season with a practice shoot on the Pakahi Range, commencing at 9 a.m.
