DORIS LEMON.— Thank you for your, letter, Doris. How is the knitting getting on? I haven’t any coloured pictures of horses just now, but if I do come across any, I will send you some. OLA ATKINSON.— I enjoyed the jokes very much, Ola. You were asking about the rules of our Club. Well, our one rule is that you must do a good deed ‘ for Mother or; Father, or someone else, every day. Our motto is “Do A Good Deed Each Day.”
ELIZABETH CAHILL. — Your letter and story were very neat Elizabeth, so you have gained extra marks this time.
MERLYN ANDERSON.—I was very sorry to hear that you had been sick, Merlyn. I hope you are feeling better again now. I don’t like having to stay in bed on nice fine days, do you, and when you are sick, you always feel that you are missing something. ELSIE DENSE.- — Thank you for your letter, Elsie. I suggest that you call your calf "Brownie.” Do you like’that name?
MARY THOMPSON, HELEN WILSON, GEORGE COOPER, TERRY KENNEDY.—Thank you for the jokes and riddles, children. You must be kept very busy finding them all. ERLEEN MUIR, FRANCES NEILSON.— Thank you for the poems with illustrations, girls. They were very neatly done.
MARI NEILSON, JOY AND BARBARA HUGHES. — Your drawings were very good. I am getting a lovely collection of them now.
