Ground Party Expected To Reach Wreck Before Mid-day To-day
P.A. WELLINGTON, Oct. 29 The ground party which set out, this afternoon, for the wreckage of the airliner, Kaka, is now expected to reach the scene of the crash at about ten or eleven o’clock to-mor-row morning. This was stated tonight, by a police officer at Ohakune, from’which a party of seventy-two ment in charge of Senior-Sergeant F. Taylor, set out a few hours after the wreckage was spotted. He added that, with luck, the party might reach the road at Horopito by six o’clock to-morrow night on its way down.
