A marching team has been formed in Cobden, and the following officers elected: Patron, Mr P. Higgins; president, Mr D. Guthrie; vice-presi-dents, Messrs F. W. Baillie, W. Kells, F. Freitas, R. Ramage, F. Munn, A. Watkin, L. Mclntyre, B. Cowan, E. Madden, J. Nimmo, senr., Mesdames McKane, Morissey, Crossen, McGlashan; committee, Misses J. Guthrie, F. Hay, J. Inglis; leader, Miss N. Patterson; marker, Miss P. Freitas; secretary, Miss Nola Patterson; delegates to Marching Association, Mr Guthrie and Miss Patterson.
