ELECTRONIC STAFF BONUS PLAN
Bonus payments for . employees, based on tlie rate of dividend distributed to shareholders, are to be introduced at Risdom by the Electrolytic Zinc Coy., of Australasia Ltd. First payment of the bonuses will be in December and distribution will be made about at six month intervals coinciding with dividend pavments. Whenever the yearly dividend rate to ordinary shareholders exceeds eight per cent, (or four per cent., half-yearly), the company will pay into ‘a Risdon Bonus Pool, £7,500 for each one per cent., by which the dividend exceeds three and a-half per cent, a year. The amount of the bonus pool will be divided among the Risdon staff and employees in proportion to the salaries or wages earned, including industry allowance and overtime. , ■ Participants will be employees who have been employed continuously bv the company for at least six months before the distribution and who are still in the company s employ when the bonuses are paid. Employees involved in a go-slow strike, or who refuse to work reasonable or necessary overtime, will be debarred from sharing in the succeeding bonus distribution. The amount they would have received will not be paid bv the company into the pool. Ims will apply also if some or all emnlovees tsike notion to restiict piodudtion or affect the smooth operation of the Plant. Members of anv union which calls out employees will be debarred from participating.— Reuter.
