Eclipse of Sun Next Monday
A total eclipse of the sun occurs on November 1, states Mr I. L. Thompson, director of the Cartel’ Observatory in, the New Zealand Science Review. It is an eclipse not likely to attract much attention since it is not of lone duration, and only a very small part of its path is on. land in the eastern part of Africa. Partial phases will be seen over a wide area, which includes Africa Southern Arabia, Southern Ceylon, most of Australia, half of Antarctia and New Zealand, except the Gisborne districts.
