DOMESTIC TRAGEDY AT WANGANUI
Husband and Wife Dead WANGANUI, Sept. 20. A woman was found dead and her husband critically wounded m the head in a house in Beach Road this morning. The husband is now in hospital. . The couple were Dulcie May Anderson, aged 38', and Frederick Hansen Anderson, aged 54, a labourer. The discovery was made by a neighbour who came to the back door to use the telephone. She found Frederick Anderson lying in the kitchen with a rifle beside him. A doctor and the police later found the body of Mrs Anderson in the hall. A son and a daughter of Anderson by a previous marriage, live at home but were at work at the time the shooting is believed to have occurred. The beds had been made and the house tidied and the kitchen table was covered with freshly-picked flowers. , Death of Anderson P.A. WANGANUI, Sept. 20. Frederick Hansen Anderson died in the hospital at 4.30 p.m. to-day, following the Gonville tragedy. An inquest was opened and was adjourned sine die.
