More Ambushes In Malaya

SINGAPORE, Sept. 9 A police constable was killed and a European estate manager, a clerk and another policemen were wounded in a terrorist ambush twelve miles south Kuala Lumpur to-night. The party, with labourers’ payroll, was ambushed by about twelve terrorists who are believed to have escaped with about 2000 Straits dollars. Intensified prosecution of Moslem Malays by the Siamese in the four southern provinces of Siam is alleged by eighteen Malays who escaped to Northern Kelayan. They fled after a Malay had been shot by Siamese police. -
