ATHLETICS Visit of Australians
WELLINGTON, Sept. 9. A national contest between New Zealand and Australia at Wellington on March 5 next yeai* is included in the proposed itinerary of a tour by a team of eight Australian athletes considered by the management committee of thei New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. The cost would b-> £l2BO. It was made clear that the visit would be accepted only if eight "men of sufficient standard comprised the team. It was decided to refer the proposals to the centres. The places to be visited shall be from February 14 to March s—Auckland, Whangarei, Hamilton, Napier, Invercargill, Wanganui, Dunedin and Christchurch.
