(Rec. 9.35) LONDON, Sept. 3 South Africa is closing her doors to unofficial immigration. In future, all passengers to the Union, intending to take up permanent, residence there, must fill in forms so that they can be "screened” before leaving Britain. A statement issued by the South African authorities in London last night warned that those who do not pass .through the "screen” will run the risk either of being refused admission as prohibited immigrants, or of having to pay the maximum deposit of £250 provided in the Immigration Act.
