MR W. H. MARTIN SNR The death ocurred on Sunday of Mi‘ William Henry Martin, snr., of Cape Road, aged 83. Born in Westport, MiMartin, whose parents were pioneers of the district, was a well-known resident. His wife died two years ago. Mr Martin is survived by two sons, John (Motueka), and William (Cape Road), and three daughters, Mesdames E. McPadden and T. Smith (Westport), and T. Biswick (Auckland). Mr G. Marton and Miss Martin, of Westport, are brother and sister. The funeral will take place at Orowaiti cemetery at 2 p.m. to-day.
