Rumanian Attache Resigns in U.S.A.

WASHINGTON, August 22. Mr Alfons .Vogel, press attache at the Rumanian Consulate, has resigned from his position “for political reasons”, and will try to remain .in the United States as a political refugee. , Mr Vogel said: “I quit because I agree with American democracy, and the American way of life. I like freedom of the press. I believe in human rights. I easily gave up—from the material point of view— a very good position to have my own freedom and to express mv own beliefs’'.
