BIG PILE OF SHELLS EXPLODE IN U.S.A. ARTILLERY DEPOT

NEW YORK, August 7 About 140,000 three-inch artillery shells exploded to-day in a chain of blasts which rocked an ordnance depot at Pueblo, Colorado, for seven hours. The explosions occurred in an isolated area, and there were no casualties. It is reported that the fire which caused the explosions was started by lightning.
