OVER £35 RAISED AT RUNANGA FOR U.N.O. APPEAL
Public response in Runanga to the UNO appeal for funds to aid me distressed children of the world, nas been good. In the first donations list, over £35 has been raised by the local Organisation. With several functions yet to be held, it is expected that this generous contribution from the people of me district will be gratefully accepted oy the organisation in its fight against world famine and its resultant consequences. Donations to date include:— Runanga Borough Council £10; Runanga Women’s Bowling Club, £2 2s; Mesdames R. Shepherd 7/6; E. E. Farquhar 10s; D. Manderson 10s; T. Watson (snr.) £1; T.
