Lucky Escapes From Blazing Aircraft

DARWIN, May 7. A pilot and four passengers, including two women escaped with injuries and burns when a De Havilland Dragon Rapide crashed and. burst into flames during a take-off at Daly Waters aerodrome. The cause of the crash is unknown. The plane was airborne before :t crashed at the edge of the runway. An aerial ambulance was dispatched from, Darwin. DAKOTA STILL MISSING -LONDON, May .6. There was still no trace at nightfall of the American Dakota which was due at Shannon af 8 a.m. yesterday from Gander.
