The Gael sailed for Hokitika yesterday and returned five hours after. She is expected to sail for Wanganui to-night. The Poolta sailed yesterday with coal for Wellington. . The Piri is due to-day with explosives fi’om Melbourne. After discharge she will sail via Westport for Auckland. The Kakapo is due from Auckland on Monday with general cargo. The Gabriella is due on Thursday with general cargo and after discharging will load coal and timber for return.
