(Rec. 9.30) LONDON, April 23 Scientists had not, so far, produced any weapon that could justify discarding the present day technique of land warfare, declared Field Marshal Montgomery, in a speech at London. “We must still remain pre-
pared for a battle on land.” he said. “Any claim that a future war would be of the press-button
type was not substantiated at present, and was dangerous.”
