MUSEUM SWORDS STOLEN

LONDON, April 18. Thieves stole two swords with gold hilts and . scabbards encrusted with diamonds -and emeralds from the Victoria , and Albert Museum. The swords were presented to the first Duke of Wellington, one by the people of Bengal and'other by the Emperor Alexander. A watchman' heard a crash about midnight last night and found - the showcase broken. ■ .- ■ The thieves escaped by a ladder from the first-floor window.
