RIFLE SHOOTING Defence Club Patron’s Trophy Shoot
The Greymouth Defence Rifle Club fired the first competition for Patron G. R. Harker’s trophy on the Cobden range on Saturday afternoon. Rifleman C. Richardson was topscorer with a good shoot of 101. A good register of shots was that of J Efford, whose total was 98. lhe leading scores are given below (conditions being ten shots at 300 yards and 11 shots at 500 yards on the Bislev target): C. Richardson 101, J. Efford 98, W. Jackson 97, S. Davy 96, M. Garth 95. P. Wafer 95, R. Ferris 95, F. Bell 93, A. Bruhn 91, C. Jackson 90.
