Ist. year £255 p.a., less £6O p.a. for board (£3/7/6 per week and board and lodgings after payment of taxes). 2nd. year £270 p.a., less £6O p.a. for board. When hospital fully staffed, Nurses have every third day off duty and two months’ leave per annum to compensate for hours worked. Overtime is payable for hours worked in excess of 40 per week at lime and a-half rates (3/8)d per hour for a first year nurse), except on .Sundays and holidays, when double time rate is paid for extra duty.
