SOVIET RECALLS MINISTER FROM NEW ZEALAND

WELLINGTON', June 26.

The first Russian Minister to New Zealand, Mr Ivan Ziabkin, will leave the Dominion on July 25 on recall to Moscow, accompanied by his wife. He said to-day he had no idea what his future post would be. Asked if he would make a statement for publication concerning his stay - in New Zealand he replied: “I have nothing to say.” » The French Minister, M. Gazel, is leaving Auckland on July 16 by a military plane en route to France, via Saigon. He expects to be absent from New Zealand until about the end of October.
