P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, May 20. “Such resolutions based on prejudice, parisan statements carry no weight with anyone, and certainly not with the Government,” declared the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) today, commenting on a newspaper report of a resolution of no-confidence in the Minister of Labour (Hon. A. McLagan) passed at a meeting of the Auckland branch of the Waterside Workers’ Union.

mentary Labour Party, as evidenced at the recent caucus meeting, had complete confidence in Mr. McLagan, and he carried their full support, Mr. Fraser added.
