Bevin’s Tedious Time in Moscow

(Rec. 9.50) LONDON, May 16. Pausing for a moment, during his detailed report to Parliament last night on the Moscow conference Mr Bevin said: “If it is tedious to you, I assure you it was more tedious to me sitting there in Moscow for six weeks. Someone said to me: ‘You must have been born again!’ I asked why. He replied: ‘Because no one can remember you showing the patience you have got now!’”
