EXPLOSION KILLS U.S.A. MINERS
NEW YORK, May 1. Eight miners lost their lives after being trapped by an explosion in a small coal mine at Terre Haute, m Indiana. Rescuers were driven back at -first by carbon monoxide fumes, later they found all the men dead. The cause of the explosion is unknown.
